A man will come from the east Empty
PostSubject: A man will come from the east   A man will come from the east EmptyThu Jun 26, 2008 4:58 pm

A man will come from the east

MAY WE ALL PRAY FOR WISDOM AND DISCERNMENT AND PRAY FOR EACH OTHER
AS WE MAKE THIS DECISION OF A LIFETIME! OUR LIVES, CHILDREN AND
GRANDCHILDREN'S LIVES WILL BE CHANGED FOREVER BECAUSE OF OUR CHOICE THIS
ELECTION. MAY GOD BE WITH US ALL!

God help us if this man is elected!! But it is all stated
in the Bible and it will happen sooner or later.

This is from Darlene Millican, wife of the pastor
of Trinity Bapt. Church here in Sun City .

I have felt for sometime now that Obama is the
one person that 'Frightens Me'. I believe the Bible has
warned us that 'A man will come from the East that will be
charismatic in nature and have proposed solutions for all our
problems and his rhetoric will attract many supporters!'

When will our pathetic Nation quit turning their back on God and understand that
this man is 'A Muslim'....First, Last and always....and we are AT WAR with
the Muslim Nation, whether our bleeding-heart, secular,
Liberal friends believe it or not. This man fits every description from the Bible
of the 'Anti-Christ'!

I'm just glad to know that there are others that are frightened by this man!

Who is Barack Obama?

Very interesting and something that should be
considered in your choice.

If you do not ever forward anything else, please
forward this to all your contacts...this is very scary to
think of wh at lies ahead of us here in our own United
States...better heed this and pray about it and share it.

snopes.com
<http://snopes.com>' confirms this
is factual. Check for yourself.

Who is Barack Obama?

Probable U. S. presidential candidate, Barack
Hussein Obam a was born in Honolulu ,
Hawaii , to Barack Hussein Obama, Sr., a black MUSLIM
from Nyangoma-Kogel , Kenya and Ann Dunham, a white ATHEIST from
Wichita , Kansas

Obama's parents met at the
University of Hawaii .
When Obama was two years old, his parents
divorced. His father returned to
Kenya . His mother then married Lolo Soetoro, a RADICAL
Muslim from Indonesia . When Obama was 6 years
old, the family relocate
to Indonesia . Obama attended
& nbsp;a MUSLIM school in Jakarta . He also spent two
years in a Catholic school.

Obama takes great care to concea l the fact that
he is a Muslim . He is quick to point out that, 'He was once
a Muslim, but that he also attended Catholic school.'

Obama's political handlers are attempting to
make it appear that that he is not a radical.

Obama's introduction to Islam came via his father, and that this influence was
temporary at best. In reality, the senior Obama returned to
Kenya soon after the divorce, and never again had any direct influence over his
son's education.

Lolo Soetoro, the second husband of Obama's mother, Ann Dunham, introduced his
stepson to Islam. Obama
was enrolled in a Wahabi school in Jakarta .

Wahabism is the RADICAL teaching that is followed by the Muslim terrorists
who are now waging Jihad against the western world. Since it is politically
expedie nt to be a CHRIS TIAN when seeking major
public office in the United States , Barack Hussein Obama has
joined the United Church of Christ in an attempt to downplay
his Muslim background. ALSO, keep in mind that when he was
sworn into office he DID NOT use the Holy Bible, but instead the Koran.
Barack Hussein Obama will NOT recite the Pledge of Allegiance nor will he show any
reverence for our flag. While others place their hands over their hearts, Obama
turns his back to the flag and slouches. Do you want someone like this as your PRESIDENT?

Let us all remain alert concerning Obama's expected presidential candidacy.

The Muslims have said they plan on destroying the US from the inside out, what
better way to start than at the highest level - through the
President of the United States , one of their own! The
Bible says 'He will come from among you!'
Sleep

Would you want this man leading our country?
Question

NOT ME!!!
Suspect

WITHOUT GOD, WE ARE NOTHING!!!
No

I'm not certain who the anti-christ is. Thought there are so many actors on the world s6tage who might be this man of perdition, I'm sure many are just his "little helpers". God always preserves a remnant, there will be a remnant raptured and also a remnant called forth from those left.

You all need to get out more often and get off of the computer. If we lived by the Bible we would be stoning people in the street.Barack for Prez!!!!!!!! cheers
Throughout history Christians have killed many more than Muslims(the inquisition and the holy Roman empire). They send missionaries into foreign lands to convert the natives that have been living peacefully in their beliefs for centuries. Religion causes war and strife and has for 2000 years. scratch

If we lived by the Bible we would have no:
thieves
murders
adulterers
rapists
incest
sex with animals
and a multitude of other charming things. Just think .... the news papers would have to have good news in them instead of the sick crap that is in them now.

Why would anyone vote for someone to take a job that has so much power, authority, and the ability to change so many peoples lives that has so little experience in government? The man is unqualified. Ron Paul was the answer.

You say that "religion" causes war and strife and has for 2,000 years. C'mon fellah, we're not a bunch of rubes here who don't know what happened aproximately 2,000 years ago. Our savior was born. You should really own up to the fact that your statement wasn't a snide swipe at religion in general so much as it was aimed at one partiucular religion; christianity. You're just another anti-christian bigot with a chip on his shoulder. I'm pretty familiar with the type and they're generally the way they are because some tenant of christianity threatens one of their pet sins. The lavender lobby comes to mind but they don't hold exclusive rights to this mind set.

Despite your obvious bigotry you are also wrong.I'm not nursing a grudge against muslims, but they did battle their way to the gates of Vienna as recently as 1683. Only the timely arrival of Polish king Jan Sobieski and his hussars arguably prevented the destruction of western civilization. Often, "religion" is used as an excuse for good ol' fashioned greed or envy, as when HenryVIII seized pretty much all property belonging to the catholic church he could lay his hands on. One interfaith conflict you didn't mention was the persecution of christians by chinese atheists or,from antiquity, that Rome's "ideal philosopher king"; Marcus Aurelius, slaughtered untold numbers of christians in the colosium because they gave their allegiance to a god other than the emperor and the state.

Come back and treat us to some more anti-christian propaganda when you have the chance steelernation, perhaps you'll also be kind enough to share with us your real reasons for despising christianity instead of the tired old formula you just tried out on us.

Jimbob, according to a person on the other forum we're nothing but a bunch of racist bigots over here. It's an anti-Christian nest of vipers over that Gannet apparently likes. And the loudest one is busy calling us names from afar. She doesn't want to be associated with a forum of free speech but wants to have all Christians feeling unwelcome on that forum. And when someone posts something they can't argue with they start the playground routine of name calling. It's very entertaining! Better than the comics except that the nonbelievers have fooled themselves so thoroughly. And you don't have to sign up to read the forum. I'll fill you in when you get home. But trust me .... this forum is 1000% better! Thank you again to the creators of this forum! cheers cheers

PostSubject: Poor old Jimbob   A man will come from the east EmptyWed Jul 02, 2008 8:12 pm

Let me start off by telling you that I am as much of a bigot as you are, my friend. I spent the first fifteen years of my life attending the church on Cambridge Rd. and Orange Street. If those doors were open I was in there, bet on it.While there I was force fed a litany of crap. Christians don't attend movies, christian ladies do not wear make up, jewelry or pants. I could go on and on and on. And now all of those rules mashed into my brain are passe. Evil or Very Mad The older I became the wiser I became. Then it was on to ten years in the military. You know what we did before we went out to kill people? We prayed.HA HA HA "O Lord bless us as we go out to lay waste to your beloved creation." I have been all over this world friend. I have seen more than most. So when I tell you Chrisianity is a tool used for control by the powerful I am not just throwing it out there. I believe it wholeheartedly. You use your big words and try to talk around the obvious facts, but it does not work on me.Christians push their agenda. George W. Bush would have lost without the throngs of Christians. He used all of them to screw our country up worse than I have ever seen it.Hook, Line and Sinker.

Steelernation, that was some interresting testimony. I could probably guess with two or three tries which denomination you belonged to. To be quite honest, I'm not a native of this area, I wasn't raised here and I couldn't tell you off the top of my head what structure occupies that piece of real estate on Cambridge and Orange. Pointing out bigotry in people who make a show of loathing bigots is my "little hobby", on the other hand, I see bigotry in general as an adaptive mechanism utilized by intelligent people to make up for lack of certain knowledge or accurate intelligence. Bigotry is an extrapolation, or an "educated guess" based upon past experience. It serves the same purpose among creatures with grey matter and oposable thumbs as instinct does for lesser creatures which are "programmed" to recognize both prey and dangerous predators.

What I have to tell you is that in this instance, your "bigotry", and I mean that in the clinical sense as defined above, no negative connotations, is not serving you with equal efficacy for all groups of christians. I myself came to a knowledge of Christ and paul's Gospel relatively late in life..........."late" from my perspective, it's not like I'm elderly. I've always believed in God, but I havn't always understood about salvation. I was raised in the Episcopal church which is a relatively liberal denomination. Even within the conservative churches the priests drink, not to excess, but they drink. After being saved myself, that is hearing, understanding, and believing the Gospel;

I Corinthians 15:1-4

"Moreover, brethren, I declare unto you the gospel which I preached unto you, which also ye have received, and wherein ye stand; By which also ye are saved, if ye keep in memory what I preached unto you, unless ye have believed in vain. For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures; And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures:"

It really is that simple, I really didn't have to worry till I died about whether or not I'd been "good enough", no one is. I'm saved because of what He did, and not for anything I did or didn't do.

I also realized that I could continue to drink beer. Yes, it's true...........it's not even a sin although drinking to excess may promote sinfull behavior.

"Drink no longer water, but use a little wine for thy stomach's sake and thine often infirmities. " (1 Timothy 5:23)

Jesus turned water into wine at the wedding feast as well, and it was wine..........not grape juice. Only priests and kings are prohibited from drinking anything at all, since I am not a grand pubah within a church or the govt. this does not pertain to me. A man will come from the east 724162

I am "the head" of my wife and her immediate spiritual authority. I like for my wife to wear make up and jewelry, it accents her natural beauty and is feminine. I have no problem with her wearing pants. The actual biblical prohibition is against people dressing as members of the oposite sex. Believe you me, no one is ever gonna mistake my wife for a man when she's wearin her tight fittin jeans. Besides, women's jeans are cut and styled differently from mens jeans. Conversely, a kilt is not feminine but warrior wear and a part of our proud celtic heritage.

Me an the wife havn't been out to see a movie in years, not because it's prohibited, but because we have toddlers.

I am sincerely sorry that your experience with church was such a "bad trip". It seems to me that much of the torment you endured was due to the imperfect understanding of men..........."traditions of men". It's a shame because the real deal is a liberating experience.

Mat 11:30 For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light.

As for your experience in the army, well, that could be a long thread on it's own. I'm not at all happy with our military adventures abroad, I'm not sure how much cosmic blame rests with the individual soldiers in the imperial legions, but if they are guilty, these nieve young meen who've been sold a bill of goods by the chickenhawks running this country, I am certain that their share of the blame is much less than those of the aforementioned chickenhawks. I don't blame those young men for praying, I'd have done the same and I might have easilly wound up in the same position. Anyway, whatever blame might have accrued to anyone, Christ already paid for that sin and all they have to do to be forgiven is to accept His gift of forgiveness.

Regarding "Dubya", "the Decider", the "Unitary Executive" and his peculiar brand of fascism which has pretty much finished off what was left of the republic...........yes, much of his support came from christians, christians who were scared s#&%less of what Al Gore or Kerry might have done to the country. In all honesty, we don't know that the socialists would have been much better or any better than the fascists. Me? This christian voted for Pat Buchanan of the Reform Party back in 2000 and Peroutka of the Constitution party in 2004. I just wish everyone would quit voting for the two party dictatorship as nothing is going to improve untill we do. I voted for Ron Paul in the republican primary...........he's different and the way he was treated by the MSM and his own party attests to that, and I will likely vote for Chuck Baldwin of the Constitution Party in the presidentian election
