A rare event

The other night after the hard rain we had I was driving down Arrow head Dr and I actually saw now brace yourself for this ok. What I saw was a crew of street workers cleaning out a water drain. I know this is hard to believe but if I had a camera I would have taken a picture of this very very rare event in our little town. I was so surprised that I actually had to turn around and do a double take of this i almost broke my neck. But in any event I'm sure they will be back to what they do best which is sitting on there asses and drinking coffee while the streets keep getting worse.

Now that the city knows where the streets flood what are the chances they will maintain the storm drains in these areas? And where was the street dept while the streets were flooding. you would think they would have been out clearing the drains during the storm. But like the snow storms we had they just waited until the storms were over then they would get off there asses and do something.
