the "other forum" does it again

I was reading yesterday about the city taxes. Today I went back to that topic and noticed that one person (Nazgul - very cool name by the way) had their post removed. All it said was that he and his wife had moved out of town due to the taxes and for people to move! Now THAT'S censorship!!!! Ol Len must have balls the size of Texas! I noticed a few other posts had been removed but I can't remember the posters ids'. The posts were not in violation of the TOS.

If anyone sees people that would be happy over here on that forum ... bring them over! They might like to see what freedom looks like! Thank you again to the creators of this forum!

If I had the time I would go over there, and I would push the abuse button on every new post that is posted. Clog the system. Because I don't think you have to be a member to report abuse. I think that some of the posters are able to remove post. At least that is what I read over there, someone posted they thought that. There was a thread about it, I would have to look and see, if it's still there about missing post. One thread was started about people that are getting paid to post. I don't think anyone is getting paid, but I do think they are there to watch posters and remove post as they like. I'm just waiting for when they go too far, and someone gets the ass about it and causes them some real grief.

I posted the Income Tax discussion over there and here (in politics) for those of you who are not allowed to post over there. I was wondering what happened, did not realize someones post had been deleted. Thanks for the info.

That is why I do not even bother with the other forum to much bullshit and deleting post that they consider negative about the dump of a city Coshocton is and the morons who run the landfill.

I haven't read anything next door for about a week now. Been to busy, but I'm sure it's the same old BS. Holy Wars and the election nuts, who think they can change the minds of the sheeple. McCain is a sure winner, he's gaining in the polls and no one cares that his VP pick is a joke.

I won't read over there anymore. It's all pro-Obama and spit on Palin stuff and the usual namecalling if someone disagrees. I'm not for Obama or McCain but the insults and stuff about Palin are just disgusting. She's human and so is her teenage daughter. They should be more intersted in the issues than the personal lives of the canidates and their running mates. My opinion of course.
I'm voting for Federal. I'll buy another box of ammo with the money it would have taken to drive to the voting booth. It's not like my vote counts anyway. I think Diebold is to easy to rig. If teenie boopers can hack into computers then it wouldn't be hard for grownups to do some hacking either. McCain will win. Bush is not in the least bit worried about his plans not being caried out. He said the other day that he plans to bring home some troops in 2009 and 2010. How can he bring home troops in 2010? Just my opinion of course. Unless we tick Russian off a little more and then we won't have to worry about it. I feel paranoid today.

I agree they will rig the election if need be, but people are supporting McCain, so maybe they won't have to. Hard to beleive they want more the same. I guess they like having their heads beat against a brick wall. I'm voting Ron Paul, I know he won't win, but I know he is the best guy!

I was wondering how posters can delete post over there? It seems Lynn 58 is able to do that, at least that what I saw someone posting that she can. Maybe they work for the newspaper? And before I stopped posting over there, I thought she deleted mine. Because it was gone in just a few minutes. She would not have had time to get a hold of Len, for him to delete my post. Anyone know what's up with that?

I went over to take a peek, and most of the threads started are about Lipstick, sad this country is going down the tubes and the big news is lipstick. I didn't read any of the post, sure they are full of more BS. Both parties are digging the dirt and shoveling coal into a flameless pit. The issues are being put on hold just to win this election. It doesn't matter who will win, Obama or McCain, we will see this country going down to the pit of HELL!

I wonder when we do go to the pits of hell if Len will let us in?

The story about the little girl whom died in the fire has started another deleting of posts, now the whole thing can not be seen. I understand about TOS but it all started by one person poking their finger at another about them not knowing the whole story. Then it got out of hand and truly from my stand point it is all the same people that do it all the time!

Agreed sure a lot of "power play" at the other forum..........
I was reading about the recent tragic loss of the child in the house fire.......I read they had deleted a number of posts about rumors?
I feel sorry about the horrific accident. But I can recall that family has had a number of issues for many years......

Does any one recall the horrible Christmas Eve fire on N. 6th a number of years ago? Where 6 children were left alone,
While the parents went to Tuscarawas county to a party, and left real burning candles lite in the windows. and the house
caught fire. There were 6 children I recall in that fire, and almost all were taken to Akron, and think 1-2 died.
I recall it well, I was one of the EMT's under the burning window, giving CPR, and emergency care.

Was it the same family? I do not remember that, but I may have blocked it out, makes my chest hurt.

I missed the posts, I don't read very many over next door. Can anyone tell me about them.

I recall there were several families involved, I think they put the kids all in one house and then took off........and left candles burning in the window by the curtains.......

As for the posts MC, at the CT, If you check there have been quite a number deleted by the editor.....calling them rumors...

The posts that were deleted were refering to the fact that the grandmother was taking to the hospital for an angina attack, she was not in the house when the fire started. People are commenting on that and Len the Dicktator is deleting the posts. It is fact, it is just that the CT has not printed it.

This forum is much better! We have quality posters here that aren't afraid to speak out. The other forum probaby has some good posters but they will get tired of being roped and tied someday and leave.

It's not as easy as it sounds... not just anybody can pick up and move at the drop of a hat because things are bad.
There is a lot to weigh out...
family, friends, obligations and such.
A lot of things to work out and think over. Very big decision and adjustment, that is for sure.

I did it, and it was a very hard decision to make, took a lot of planning and tough decisions,
...but after it was all said and done... I'm glad I did it. Things turned out very good for me and my son. Both of us have very good jobs now and a really good life... plus we can still come back and visit when we want.

Turns out, there is a very big world out there beyond Crowtown...
