Bullshit newspaper

Did everyone know that now if you say something on the other shitty forum that len doesnt agree with they will remove it for violating their retarded TERMS OF SERVICE. ATM wrote concerning the 300,000 donated to the PORT-o-John AUTHORITY and how the economic engine in the county is blown and how the money could have went to better things. The great people of that fabulous newspaper removed it because some how it violated the TERMS OF SERVICE. Pathetic!!!!!!!!!

That forum is a joke. I read stuff over there sometimes. They allow an alwful lot of personal attacks but no opinions that don't met with the Lenanator's approval. The mudslinging is really childish. I like it here. Quality over quantity!

I read the other forum daily. I see alot of questionable posts. Len and his helpers decide which ones are too much. But ATM along with many others do alot of name calling. It could be possible that he went a little too far over the line this time. I have seen many posts deleted. Not just his.

I see alot of name calling; if you look at the very story he got his pulled from there is name calling. There are so many posters that get away with saying all kinds of things and Len lets it fly. I do not get it.

We are not concerned with the mudslingling it is only certain people are allowed to sling it. Some are not allowed to say what they feel and others can say that and more.

I bet that if someone circulated a petition asking citizens to sign it if they thought we needed these jobs, about 12,000 people in the city would sign it. Are the doors open for business? NOPE. Sad. Very sad.

We do need business in Coshocton before we become a ghost town. From the information I have read it would have brought employment to people in Coshocton which we desperately need. ATM4u is has now asked Len to make it known exactly why his post was pulled! Len has said for ATM4u to email him, ATM said no you pulled it publicly and people want to know! GO ATM4u

The Tribune has a problem with consistent enforcement of their Terms of Service. Having operated multiple forums myself over the past ten years if you're not consistent people start to think you're "playing favorites" or targeting certain members. I don't agree with what ATM4u posted, however there are posts up as I'm writing this that violate the "gossip" portion of their TOS that should also be removed. The stuff about the Ethanol Plant being closed and things about Padgett are all gossip based. It's the stuff you hear in the milk department at Buehlers. I can understand why he's upset about his post being removed.

I always made it a point to email people whenever I edited posts on my forums to explain why. Sometimes I'd misunderstand their post and find out through emails that it wasn't a violation of my terms after all. They're not using the public features of their website as effectively as they could. It's starting to become sort of an online tabloid accented by a little bit of real news. A bunch of eye-catching headlines with no real substance to follow.

I've emailed in some suggestions for improving their online interactive features but they really don't seem interested. They need more mods and some of them should be non-Gannett employees (aka regular readers). They don't try to connect with their users on a two-way communication level so I don't really think they understand where some posters are coming from on there. They don't know what they're doing as far as e-community management is concerned.

Does anyone know what was said to make him shut it down?

I get that Len is an ass, but why is it that some are allowed to call names and say outrageous things and not be pulled. ATMs posted are frequently pulled and I do not get it?

Can anyone catch me up here, what was deleted? I have not read both forums for awhile now. But it seems next door things have not changed! Doesn't surprise me that they would delete stuff about Joy, I'm no fan of hers! But people from Coshocton seem to love her! Does anyone know who Lynn is? I think some of the problems start with her over there. Seems like she can get away with a lot. Maybe I'm wrong, but what do you guys think?

i read the other forum occasionally. what topic was ATM having a problem with? i havent seen any that were closed down. what did he say? you guys are talking about it but nobody will say what is going on.

It was the Family continues to give back to community article, this time, but it has been done to ATM before. The article is on the home page in the most commented on articles, it says at the bottom that it is blocked. I have read what they post and sometimes catch it before it is deleted; I find nothing wrong. I did not see this one. I have asked AMT to come over here so we all may talk without anyone deleting a post. I have not gotten a reply.

It doesn't single out ATM. You shouldn't bash on the forum for that since that is not where he posted. Those comments on articles have nothing to do with the forum.

ATM made a coment, that in no way violated the terms of service. The due to many.. was due to many asking what he said to violate the terms of service... so instead of answering all that wanted to know what was wrong with what he said... Len just closed the whole thing saying due to many. So before you tell us how it is.. get a clue!

So... since you were not following along as it happened before it got shut down... Don't tell us about bashing the the other forum.
So it was not the other forum, but an article in the paper that was comented on... close enough! The other forum and the bullshit paper is one and the same!

The post with the seal was just saying that no one should be allowed to mutilate the seal of the USA.

One thing about that forum ... you learn to cut and copy fast if you want to see something again!
