I got beat to the post! And Puppylove is 100% right on!
Peas like lots of sunlight and can be planted now.
Radishes the book says to plant when the soil is dry. Right now our soil is too wet and squishy.
We're putting our strawberry plants out today and theres a roll of plastic to cover them if it gets cold again (the chickens get all the straw we have for their nesting box).
I'm going to start my tomato plants next week in the house.
I use the book Midwest Fruit and Vegetable Book for dates. Anything you want to know the dates for planting on just hollar! And if you need chicken poo to fertiilze ...... we have poo ... free! Lots of it! I need to clean the dropping pans out in the next few days so let me and I'll make a pile for you. Otherwise I fling it far and wide! Poo-flinging ... its an art!
The poo has wood shavings in it also.
