There has been a lot of coverage lately about the moon landing. Does anyone think we actually did land on the moon? Or was it a big show put on by NASA? If we could do it 40 years ago why haven't we been back there?

There was a good show on the true tv, the other night about that, It was pretty good, but if you watch mythbusters they proved we did. But who knows. I always thought we had not only because of the Van Allen Belt. So your guess is as good as mine, besides the issue doesn't effect my life. Not like 9/11, all this war on terror effects our rights.
It you get a chance watch the rerun on true tv, the next time it's on.

Landed or not - it was a huge waste of tax money. Who cares if flies can fart on the moon? The current space shuttle program ..... very cool but its costing us billions and billions and the benefits seem to be very slim to the taxpayer. I'd rather have the money used for infrastructure like bridges and roads that we can all get use out of. Play in space when we are a wealthy free nation again. And I'm not holding my breath for that day.
