| This is my cat Mushroom. She has been missing from the Pleasant Valley area since Sunday. She is just a little cat. She had on a white flea collar and a blue color with a blue bell. She has been outside for about a month and never left the yard. She has a vet appointment tomorrow for fleas so we can get her back into the house. We miss her dearly. I think our other cat is really missing her to because yesterday he stopped eating. Please message me if you have any information. Thank you | |

| Hope you find her, too. She looks like a real "sweetest heart". Have you posted her picture around the neighborhood? Maybe some kid just thought she was lost and took her home with them. Our pets are just like precious children. | |

| Here is what happened.
We have Mushroom and then another cat, Shadow. We somehow got invested with fleas! Shadow is in indoor/outdoor cat. Mushroom was indoor only. When we could not get the fleas contained we put them both outside to boom the house. Shadow took care of Mushroom. She doesn't kill anything and she never left the yard. For a month they were outside. We boomed the house like 10 times! We finally got rid of all the fleas and had the money to take the cats to the vet to get their fleas under control, although they had cleared up alot being out? So We were taking them on Wednesday. Sunday morning there was no Mushroom. I knew right away something was wrong, but just thought she might have gotten brave and left the yard. Then Monday, no Mushroom and I called everywhere and everyone looking for her.
My neighbors had made a comment that Mushroom kept climbing the tree and getting on their roof at night to get away from the racoon. They also hate cats. I'd hate the think the worst, but....
So the really nice lady at the shelter is helping me look for her. I am just beside myself worrying about her. I just know that she is dead, and not buy a 4 legged animal, but what can I prove?
If someone has her and is taking care of her, I can live with that at this point, but I just know in my heart that she was killed. I'm keeping hope though.
Thanks everyone! | |

| I hope ya find her, too. even I know how attached "we " can get to our pets.
But, if ya don't find her, we have about 7 kittens, and 2 grown cats that need a home. They will most likely go to the pound before winter time gets here. Cats around here, in the wintertime don't last long.
We even have 2 marked alot like your cat.

| We have a real problem with fleas also. And nothings seems to be working but I have a outside cat and a inside dog. I'm just living with the darn things, better than roaches. LOL I just bath my dog alot, because fleas drown, take a flat pan of water with a over head light, and the fleas go in the pan and drown. It might be worth a try, I found this tip online.
But don't give up on your cat, my cat leaves for weeks at a time, and just when I think he won't be back he shows up. Sometimes people take them in and feed them if they come to their door, but once they get let out they come home. My cat always come back fat, so I figure he was another home he hangs around, because he's so freindly. Keep us updated.

| We used powdered laundry soap on the carpets for the fleas and that really helped. We have a really small house and at one point I thought we were going to have to leave it!
I hope someone took her in. It's a much better thought then what I think happened.
She was just a baby when we got her. She was outside our house for days before we finally decided to take her in. Maybe she just went back to where she came from.
My other cat is not taking it so well. He hardly eats and just sits and looks out the door like he's waiting for her to come home. It's sad!
