Band Of Brothers

Hubby and I have been staying up all night watching this movie. And I really liked it, the dvd has maps and things for you to follow along with. I don't know how these young men made it thought the war.

That is a great miniseries! It really puts things in perspective. We saw it about a year ago. I went to Walmart a few days later and looked for it ... I was shocked at the price! I haven't looked since but I bet it is still outrageous! I hope it comes on again soon!

I saw it when it originaslly aired on HBO. I was glued to the TV everyweek for the next episode!
They did a special on it later that interviewed some of the acutal people that were portrayed in the movie. It was very interesting.

If you know how to burn DVD's or know anybody that does... you could always rent it from netflix or video store and copy it!

You could get it from the library. I also watched flags of our fathers, I never knew about the mix up with the man in the picture, and how they used these poor boys to sale bonds. It reminds me of Pat Tillman, and how they covered-up the way he died to get people to sign up. I guess our government has always played games with the people's heart's.
