Jail Levy what will be your vote?

As for me I will vote NO. Hell i have spent time there and It's not all that bad and I really liked the doughnut you get in the morning's.

I will vote no, I think we need to come up with better ways of doing things and this would be one of them. I am all for public hangings, loosing a finger for stealing and child rapist should just die. I just do not see a reason to continue to feed and cloth all these people. There has to be a better way.

Rope is cheaper and a great deterant. Hang a few rapits by their favorite part of their anatomy until it falls off and the rest will get the idea.

Yes.......i think its time for a new jail......they have built a new fire station(years ago) and the fire department has spent lots and lots of money on new shit while the police department sits in an antique building that is over crowded and out dated. I would have like to see them explore other options like maybe the old walmart/big bear building. A better idea would have been to get the JII building and move all of the city in there. House the sheriffs department there and move the courts in there.

I like the way you think. I was always taught-waiste not, want not-but I guess it is not true. Building new is cheaper than using what we already have. I am just really tired of how this works. If you kill someone it could be years (Decades) until you get fried or gased, lets look at Charles Manson sick fuck that he is...He has murdered and we know it but yet we still allow him to live. Parole eligible in 2012. Great. I just really think that we as Americans need to find a better way of dealing with crime than the way we are right now.

The jail is for a COUNTY Sheriffs Office not a police department. There is no police department in the city. Although I bet a police department would be beneficial to the City $$$ wise.

we don't need a new jail. we need to set an example. if we build a bigger jail, the criminals will over flow the new one as it is overflowing the old one. crime will increase and things will be totally out of control. i'll vote NO!!!!

Its a CITY fire department and a COUNTY Sheriffs Office. The two have nothing to do with one another.
