Goings on @ the tribune

I'll admit, I read alot, post little, here and there.
I was there, and there is some slacking going on over there. In The Kitchen Sink area, Jobs and the Economy, Education, and a few more, new members Bab Presley8e1a and Morris_Heyward5a4 have posted a bunch of threads full of different porn sites!!

Yes, it has been pretty lame over there lately.


But at least our site is not slacking. We are growing more and more everyday.

I saw the porn site stuff.... I bet we somehow will be accused for it or having something to do with it.

They will try and blame someone over here, yea I bet. But I'm sure they will track those who are doing it. If they can track people who come back into the forum with another ID, they can track who is posting the porn. I wonder why this is happening at this time? And why would anyone think they can get away with it? I will have to run next door and take a look if it was not been deleted yet.

It's called Porn storming!

The porn is back!! Don't click on any of them. Full of viruses!! lol... ask my son who at his dads clicked on one and now their computer has been taken over by porn!! Everytime the try to go to a web page it get redirected to a porn site.. although I think it's funny... if it would have happened here, I'd be pissed!!

I can't believe a site like that isn't set up to stop post like these. I have done a couple web pages before and it's not that hard to stop those!!

You know old Madcow, she loves to research. ANd I wanted to know how or who are posting all this porn. It is a software, you can buy it and you can post within seconds your messages to 26000 forums. I am not sure how forums will beable to stop this, so we maybe we will be hit here also. From what I understand about this software, I don't think they will be able to track down the person doing this. I figure it is being used as a advertizing campaign by the porn industry.
The people who are selling this software, should have know what kind of problems this was going to cause. Think of the possibilities of the misuse of this software.

How hard would it be to hack someone's password? Does the forum have assess to our passwords?

No we do not but I'm not sure on the other forum. My son has a My space account and someone was hacking into his account every day but he had a very weak password. So I helped him make a strong one and he has not had a problem since. If you have a weak pass more then likely you are going to have problems.

The games people play. I felt bad for the person, because they were attack. but that's the MO.

read that hacking complaint, I just wondered if the person posting it, got in the wrong topic, when they wrote the complaint, didn't get how a person killed in a fire related????And of couse some of the bright stars of the CT missed that possiblibility before condeming the poster. Any normal person may have asked are you in the wrong place? The password victim was obvioiusly upset over the incident and maybe venting in the wrong spot/tpoic.

I did feel the CT used poor judgement in the picture they printed of the young woman of the fatality was of poor taste. Yes she was very nice looking, and most likely a good hard working person,but printing a pic of some one lying on a sofa, in a seductive position, with their tatoo across the top of their bum visible and low pants just don't seem right for the incident.....a little cropping maybe......this comment is not to be made against the girl, or the unfortunate incident, but to the Coshocton tribune's lack of judgement on the photo they let be printed.......the DC madam, only got a facial picture after her demise.

I agree about the picture. Not sure why they did that. The forum is pretty dead lately next door. But all it would take would be for me to post something and the attack would be on.

Well, Len and his little coterie of easilly awed hangers-on have driven away anyone and everyone who'd ventured to disagree with them. Now they have a forum in which people are allowed to agree with Len and company but are not permitted to say much else..... .....OF COURSE IT'S A BLOODY BORE TO SIT AROUND AGREEING ALL THE TIME!!!! When my daughter was posting a few years back, they kept calling the school on her. That's the kind of shit they pull. Thank God the school didn't pay any attention to it. I guess people don't have anything else better to do. I was alittle worried about just what else they would try and do to her, so I had her stop posting. The forum gestapo.

I think a many of them have jumped ship to the zanesville paper...... poor zanesville paper readers

the new tribune is "amuck", you have to click here to get there to click here again, its like a rat maze.....new technology is nice, but this time they should have left well enough alone....

maybe the ones who got this site up, should make a coshocton news site......I'm sure they could do so way much better.........

Madcow, you need to have a little talk with your daughter about Opsec ("Operations security (OPSEC) is a process that identifies critical information to determine if friendly actions can be observed by adversary intelligence"). In other words, she should be carefull who knows her true I.D. within an online community.

They know because of the way we posted that we were mother and daughter. So they took it out on her. You know, pick on the weaker one.
