Goings on @ the tribune

The Dark side is really lame, there are people from everywhere and are talking about issues and your not even sure what they are talking about. (well more so then normal) It sucks, the format sucks, the lame ass posts suck, not knowing what the hell they are talking about. Why does it have people from Lancaster on it?

I like this side the posts are not lame and I understand them.

The dark side is seeing it's end. Only a few people posting. I went and read some this morning and saw nothing but the same old. No one on the dark side wants to talk about real issues.

Issues. Such as?

The "other" forum was lacking in many areas. If you dared to disagree with the chosen few then you were treated like shit. Freedom of speech over there was only available to the ones that the forum masters liked. Old blood so to speak. Things change. But stepping out of the sheeple path over there got you treated like you had a rare contagious disease. There were about three people there that posted on every single thread. Even if they didn't have anything constructive to say but just wanted to insult someone for not thinking along the same lines that they did. Over here you can speak openly and even if you disagree with someone it is a forum of adults and you don't get childish behavior - usually. There is no Coshoctonite mold that you have to fit in over here. We are all individuals and have different views and opinions and here they can be heard.

Read the forums there most days. Looked to me like there was some lively debate going on, but some posters took it personally when their posts were challenged. Madcow, I folowed the debate when your daughter was posting. Looked to me like she brought a lot of the trouble onto herself, and seemed to enjoy doing it.

I enjoy having my posts challenged, but providing an effctive rebuttal, in my experience anyway, leads to having one's posts censored. That's not the worst of it though, dare to complain about such behavior and you'll be banned. I don't believe the mods over there possess the mental maturity to act as facilitators for a board made up of adults.

As far as I could see, if someone stayed within the terms of service, they had no problem saying whatever they wanted to, pretty much.

the "terms of service" at the tribune are about as big of a joke as the paper is. The terms only were enforced when they benefited those who didn't have anything to say that would make them seem like the brains of the town.

No excuse for calling the school. I was just glad the school didn't take issue with the calls. If you were following the debate, I think I know who you are. Still glad to have you aboard, and to have you to debate with.

You might be wrong, Madcow. I followed the debate. I didn't participate. I did and still do comment on the story chats.

The neighbors next door is calling for my elimination, saying I am worthless and need eliminated. They would love to see our freedom of speech silence. Who else would they like to kill, so the truth can not be told?

They killed my post when I defended myself. Freedom of speech is dead for the few who they want to keep silent. But left the post calling for my elimantion!

Madcow, don't waste your breath over there. Its the same ol herd with newly painted spots in a bigger pasture. In that field you'll step in some of kind of poo. Waders only go so high on your body and that poo is already deep there.

Yes, same old place, people with more id's than you can count. Same old people trying to control the forum. Delete your post when telling the truth and defending yourself. Same horse shit, insults and mindless ideas on subjects they know nothing about. But I'm sure I will be getting a email, letting me know I have been ban. Looking forward to it when I get back from singing in Columbus for a few days. Will be the first thing I will look for when I get back.

Speaking of the above mentioned, which are their new user ids? Anyone figure it out? I don't go there much, tired of the same people always having to be right LOL. And now the new site just sucks!

Back from a three day pass, and back at my command post. But while I was gone I was thinking, my post was deleted in less then a few seconds, how? Lynn58 has the password to remove post, who is she? I think I might know.

If this is true, not sure how ethical this would be? But would explain alot of what is going on over there. Here is Len, wanting to poof the trolls, and guess who might just be the real troll! I might be wrong about who she is, but I think I'm right about this Lynn58 deleting my post. And I'm wondering if she is a staff member, or just family. Or why she is able to delete post?
I went and canceled my membership. (I was a little surprised I had not been ban) Let Len's Troll's control the voices of the people. That seems to be what they want, to be controled and be insulted when they have a thought of their own. If people want to put up with insults, and having their post remove, let then have it. Beside, I look at it this way, if you are a low life living under a bridge, who else can you insult, but the people who traveling above you.

I really hate to see you leave over there Madcow, although it is understandable. Seems there are quite a few over there that are putting up a pretty good fight. Ultimately, due to the power of "BAN", evil shall prevail, but some seeds shall be planted. I'm given to understand that whatever program they're using to run the forum is so full of bugs that it's very frustrating to try to post anything over there anyway.

I was thinking about somebody next door writing that only about 4 or 5 people post here, eluding to the fact that only a few people read what we all talk about. Well what they don't understand. I would rather have four people read what we all post and understand what's going on, than 50 people how know nothing about what's going on. At least the four don't insult and kill your voice.
